Head of Compliance (SMF16)

position in 12-18 months.Sitting within 2nd line and reporting to the CEO, youl''ll be the sole Compliance specialist within the business at this time, with the scope to build a small team as the business grows.Responsibilities

Lead core compliance initiatives and the company’s control framework.Build relationships with key stakeholders; promote an ethical working environment; drive regulatory change.Provide regulatory advice, guidance and challenge to the business.Promote a culture of continued improvement in the quality of the customer experience; ensure the fair treatment of customers is at the heart of the business.Lead Consumer Duty activities for the business and take on MLRO (SMF17) responsibilities.Qualifications

Experienced senior Compliance professional from the consumer lending arena.Familiar with regulations impacting the sector, including CONC and Consumer Duty.Excellent communication skills.Benefits and Additional Information
