Senior Compliance and Assurance Analyst

Senior Compliance and Assurance Analyst
to join us and continue the good work. In this bespoke role you’ll deliver compliance and assurance activities to professional, ethical and quality standards within agreed timescales. There will be a focus on continuous improvement, deep dives and lessons learned sessions to ensure ongoing improvements in compliance assessments and monitoring. This role covers the whole Severn Trent Group and involves managing internal and external regulatory investigations, coordinating and monitoring EIR and Ofwat requests, and ensuring responses meet regulatory standards and SLAs.
Responsibilities
Promote a culture of compliance and assurance best practice, recognised as an expert for the business in this area.
Own accountability for managing regulatory casework and consultations into and out of the business, directly or through key stakeholders. Ensure responses are professional, ethical and of high quality within required timescales, and apply judgement to define scope and testing approaches to address key risks.
Provide governance and support across the business to drive right-first-time activity. Develop analysis and present findings to relevant stakeholders (up to Directors) to support front-line ownership.
Own the Group Compliance and Assurance programme of work, ensuring timely updates are provided in a cost-effective way for internal teams and wider business communities.
Deliver strategic audit and assurance activities to professional standards within allocated time, applying judgement to define scope and testing approaches to address key risks.

Salary of £40,000 - £50,000, depending on experience
28 days holiday + bank holidays (with the ability to buy/sell up to 5 days per year)
