Senior Competence and Standards Specialist

What you''ll do As a Senior Competence and Standards Specialist, you will be the organisational expert for workforce competence, behaviours and capability, aligned to our corporate strategies, values and current and emerging legislative, regulatory and professional requirements. You will play a critical role in shaping how the organisation understands and applies competence requirements across roles and functions, providing clarity on accountability now and in the future. You will translate complex external standards into clear, practical guidance that supports organisational design, workforce planning, learning pathways and talent decisions. Working collaboratively with HR Business Partners, People Development, Talent Acquisition and senior leaders, the Competence and Professional Standards Partner helps ensure statutory and regulatory competence requirements are consistently embedded, understood and sustained, supporting safe, effective and compliant service delivery.
