Job Title: Senior Communications EngineerLocation: Birmingham (Hybrid, min. 2 days per week in office)Duration: 6-month contractRate: 45.87/hourAbout the Role:ARM are seeking a Senior Communications Engineer to join a leading building design consultancy for an exciting 6-month project. This hybrid role involves designing and managing communications systems across multiple sectors, including Nuclear, Defence, and Infrastructure. You''ll be client-facing, working on high-profile projects while developing your technical and project management skills.Key Responsibilities:Design and document systems such as CCTV, access control, alarms, BMS, PAVA, and structured cabling.Lead technical delivery, including preparation of specifications and drawings.Manage project work packages, ensuring deadlines and client requirements are met.Attend client meetings, presenting designs and providing solutions.Requirements:Degree (or equivalent) in Communications, Electronic Engineering, or related field.Experience in designing communications systems for large-scale projects.Proficient in IP networking, structured cabling, and systems integration.Experience with BIM tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) is a plus.Strong client-facing and leadership skills.We can only consider applications from those eligible to work in the UK for this position.
