Job Title: Senior Commissioning Engineer - Water IndustryLocation: South Yorkshire and the MidlandsSalary: £65,000-£70,000 per annum - 40 hours per week + Company car or Car allowance (circa £6,000)Permanent Full time Early finish on a Friday Hybrid - Site / Office / WFH split Sector: Water, Energy An established engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Senior Commissioning Engineer to join their specialist water division.This is a permanent, field-based position supporting water and wastewater projects across South Yorkshire and the Midlands. You will take responsibility for commissioning process control systems, instrumentation and associated electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring systems are safely tested, documented and brought into operation.This role suits an engineer with strong practical commissioning experience who can lead on-site work, solve technical problems, and communicate confidently with clients, project teams, subcontractors, and software integration specialists.What you''ll be doing Planning, coordinating and delivering commissioning activities across water and wastewater projects.Commissioning process control systems, instrumentation, equipment and automation systems.Working with level, pressure and flow instrumentation, telemetry systems, Profibus and associated controls.Liaising with software integration teams to support the full commissioning of systems.Producing commissioning plans, schedules, procedures, reports and supporting ..... full job details .....
