We’re looking for a Head of Commercial Property to join a highly respected firm in Harrogate. This is a rare opportunity to steady the ship, build on a strong flow of quality work, and ultimately progress to Board level. This is the ideal role if you’re looking for leadership at an early stage in your career, with the freedom to put your stamp on a department and the support of a well-run, forward-thinking practice.Who we’re looking for

Commercial Property Solicitor, ideally 5–8 PQEStrong background in landlord and tenant matters, leases, and option agreementsBroader experience across sales, purchases, refinancing and corporate supportProven ability to supervise and lead a teamTrack record in business development or client growthApproachable, with the gravitas to inspire confidenceWhat you’ll be doing

Leading the Commercial Property department and ensuring stability in the first 12 monthsSupervising and supporting the existing assistant and paralegal within the teamManaging a varied caseload of commercial property matters, with an emphasis on landlord and tenant work, alongside sales, purchases and refinancingWorking closely with clients across Harrogate, York and LeedsDriving business development and networking within the regionPlaying an active role on the management team, with a clear trajectory towards Board levelSalary and Benefits
