Senior Commercial Manager

Conrad Consulting is partnering with a leading construction and property consultancy to recruit an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to support the commercial assurance of one of the UK's largest infrastructure programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional with extensive experience in major civil engineering and infrastructure projects to play a key role in Target Outturn Cost (TOC) assurance, commercial governance and cost risk management.

Working within a high-performing commercial team, you will be responsible for reviewing and challenging contractor submissions, providing commercial assurance across major work packages and supporting procurement and commercial decision-making throughout project delivery.

• Lead Target Outturn Cost (TOC) assurance reviews.
• Undertake commercial and cost assurance across major infrastructure packages.
• Review procurement strategies and contractor submissions.
• Carry out cost and commercial risk analysis.
• Challenge estimates, assumptions and commercial proposals.
• Produce detailed reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with technical, commercial and project delivery teams.

You will possess:

• Significant experience delivering major infrastructure or heavy civil engineering projects.
• Strong background in quantity surveying, commercial management, procurement and estimating.
• Experience undertaking TOC assurance or similar commercial assurance activities.
• Excellent understanding of cost planning, commercial governance and risk management.
• Ideally 15+ years' relevant industry experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Salary of £100,000–£110,000.
