Senior Commercial Manager – B2B role based in the UK, leading the B2B commercial strategy and unlocking growth opportunities in this high-potential channel for a fast-growing international food business.As a UK-only B2B specialist, you will own the customer base within the Business-to-Business channel, managing account development and new business generation as the strategic lead and commercial driver of this area.Responsibilities
Grow existing B2B customer relationships and identify new strategic partnerships with manufacturers, ingredient buyers, and other high-value accounts.Lead the Commercial Strategy for B2B with full PandL ownership at contribution level and influence wider business decisions based on commercial impact.Drive New Business Development by identifying white space and untapped opportunities; hunt, pitch, and win new accounts to diversify and grow the B2B channel.Develop customer leadership and strategic partnerships by building multi-functional relationships, negotiating long-term agreements and Joint Business Plans (JBPs).Influence category strategy, NPD, and Innovation in collaboration with NPD, marketing, and technical teams to deliver added-value product solutions for manufacturing customers.Take full commercial accountability for product mix, pricing, and promotional investment; analyse performance and drive growth with customer profitability in focus.Operate at pace with internal and external stakeholders, balancing strategic priorities with commercial clarity.Work in a high-visibility, high-impact role with freedom and empowerment, not a conventional account management position.What you get in return

High-impact commercial leader with a proven track record in the food or ingredients sector, ideally within B2B.Strong experience in the B2B food or ingredients channel, with proven success in account growth and new business development.Background in Own Label, Private Label, or ingredient-based solutions.Commercially sharp with strong PandL understanding and business acumen.Visionary mindset – able to assess data, spot opportunity, and craft compelling customer proposals.Open, honest, high-integrity communicator with the confidence to admit errors and learn quickly.Self-disciplined, proactive, and focused on execution and impact.Open to candidates from flexible or entrepreneurial backgrounds; not limited to traditional corporate training.A true hunger to learn, win, and grow – personally and commercially.Seniority level
