We are recruiting for a leading organisation delivering advanced defence solutions within the technology space.The Role:As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will manage high-value defence contracts, from bidding and pre-signature negotiations to post-signature contract management. Your responsibilities include ensuring commercial success, risk mitigation, and compliance within a highly regulated environment. Two roles are available: one mainly pre-signature, and one mainly post-signature.Key Responsibilities:Lead commercial activities across technology-led defence contracts.Oversee the end-to-end bid process, ensuring competitive and compliant proposals.Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and government entities.Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and security frameworks.Identify and mitigate contractual risks.Provide commercial guidance to internal teams and senior stakeholders.Collaborate with procurement, finance, and legal teams to achieve business objectives.About You:Proven experience in a senior commercial/contracts management role.Strong understanding of defence contracts, including MOD and international agreements.Experience managing bids, negotiations, and post-contract delivery.Excellent negotiation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to work in a high-security, fast-paced environment.Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC level).Seniority level
