Friday: 07:30 - 12:30 Start Date: Immediate Overview: An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior CNC Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator to join a growing precision engineering team. This is a hands-on role involving programming, setting, and operating a range of 3-axis, 5-axis, and palletised 5-axis CNC milling machines, with some exposure to CNC wire-eroders. The successful candidate will lead within the milling section, overseeing a group of machines and mentoring junior team members. Key Responsibilities: Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines Interpreting technical drawings and 3D digital models Producing prototypes and low-volume batch runs Performing in-process inspection using both CMM and manual gauges Maintaining a clean and efficient working environment Ensuring all parts meet required quality standards Supporting and mentoring junior team members Working collaboratively to maintain productivity and meet deadlines Skills and Experience Required: Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a machine shop Time-served or apprenticeship-trained in precision engineering Strong knowledge of Heidenhain controls and programming Skilled in CMM and manual inspection techniques Experience ..... full job details .....
