Senior CMM Manufacturing Engineer

Safran Landing Systems are looking to appoint a Senior CMM Manufacturing Engineer to support the development, validation and continuous improvement of CMM inspection programmes across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring robust measurement processes are in place, supporting inspection strategy, programme validation and metrology best practice across manufacturing operations.This is a highly technical role that will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations and Quality teams to improve inspection capability, measurement consistency and overall product quality.Key Responsibilities Create and develop CMM inspection programmes in line with company procedures.Review, validate and approve new and existing CMM programmes.Design and implement fixture solutions to support repeatable inspection processes.Manage programme validation activities across multiple components.Conduct Gauge RandR and MSA studies and analyse results.Support APQP and PPAP inspection deliverables.Provide technical expertise on inspection methods and measurement strategies.Support root cause investigations relating to CMM and inspection issues.Mentor and coach CMM and Inspection personnel.Review and update local inspection procedures and standards.Drive continuous improvement initiatives within metrology and inspection functions.
