Senior Cloud Engineer Stafford £50,000-£65,000 Oscar Technology has partnered with a leading MSP near Stafford to recruit for a skilled Cloud Engineer to join their team. Job Description As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the build and upkeep of reliable, scalable, and secure cloud platforms that drive business-critical services. Working alongside senior engineers and architects, you''ll contribute to delivering high-quality solutions through automation, optimisation, and best practice adoption. Responsibilities Include: Assist with deploying and managing cloud infrastructure across public, private, and hybrid environments. Contribute to infrastructure builds using IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Track system health, security, performance, and spend with appropriate monitoring and alerting solutions. Help investigate and resolve incidents affecting cloud platforms and services. Work with senior colleagues to create and maintain reusable infrastructure templates and deployment patterns. Develop scripts and automation to minimise manual work and speed up delivery processes. Maintain accurate documentation for infrastructure, support processes, and runbooks. Essential Skills: 1-3 years of hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates).
