Senior Client Manager

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded ACA or ACCA-qualified Senior Client Manager to join our growing accountancy practice and play a key role in the continued development of our Stockport office. You will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of corporate and owner-managed clients, lead an established team of accounting professionals. Key Responsibilities Client Portfolio, Accounts and Tax • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of corporate clients and owner-managed businesses, building long-term relationships and providing proactive commercial advice. • Review and finalise statutory year-end and management accounts, alongside complex corporate tax computations and personal self-assessment returns. • Identify and deliver tax planning opportunities, including remuneration planning, corporate restructuring and capital allowances. • Ensure client work is delivered accurately, efficiently and within agreed budgets and deadlines. Team Leadership and Workflow • Lead, mentor and develop a team of approximately three junior and semi-senior accounting professionals, providing technical guidance and constructive feedback. • Oversee day-to-day workflow, allocate work effectively and ensure Companies House and HMRC deadlines are consistently met. • Help develop a positive, collaborative and high-performing office culture.
