Senior Client Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant with substantial experience gained within a UK accountancy practice. The successful candidate will play a senior role within the business, managing their own portfolio of clients, overseeing a team of accountants and acting as a key point of contact for clients at senior partner level. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years'' recent experience within a UK-based accountancy practice, together with strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent organisational skills and the confidence to manage both clients and staff at a senior level. The Role As Senior Client Manager, your responsibilities will include: Liaising with clients at senior partner level and building strong, long-term relationships Supervising and supporting a team of at least four accountants Managing your own portfolio of clients Preparing accounts from both incomplete records and computerised records Preparing company and personal tax returns Reviewing the work of other members of the team Liaising with clients on a wide range of accounting matters Preparing management accounts Carrying out client visits where required Ensuring accounts and other work are completed accurately and to a high standard Supporting the wider practice with ad-hoc projects as they arise About You We are looking for an experienced practice accountant who is confident operating at a senior level and enjoys combining technical accounting work with client ..... full job details .....
