Senior Client BookkeeperLoughton, Essex£38,000 - £48,000 + BenefitsAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Client Bookkeeper to join a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Loughton.This progressive firm has built an enviable reputation for delivering exceptional service to a diverse client portfolio, ranging from owner-managed businesses and property companies through to high-net-worth individuals.As a result of continued growth, they are now seeking a capable and commercially minded bookkeeping professional to take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients.The RoleWorking closely with clients and senior management, your responsibilities will include:• Managing a portfolio of bookkeeping clients across a variety of sectors• Maintaining accounting records using Xero, Sage and QuickBooks• Preparing and submitting VAT Returns• Producing Management Accounts and associated reporting packs• Bank reconciliations and control account reconciliations• Assisting with Corporation Tax and Personal Tax compliance work• Liaising directly with clients regarding bookkeeping, VAT and software queries• Supporting clients with cloud accounting systems and process improvements• Preparing year-end information for the accounts team• Ensuring deadlines are met whilst maintaining a high level of accuracyThe CandidateThe ideal candidate will possess:• Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment• Strong bookkeeping experience ..... full job details .....
