Hiring Property Accounting/Finance Professionals for the Private SectorRole Purpose:

The role is handling all aspects of client and property accounting for your own portfolio of assets and assist as deputy to the Head of Property Management Accounts in overseeing and leading a team of 3. Working alongside the Property Asset Managers, Facility Managers and Property Finance Team covering a huge client base. Our team fosters an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative environment where you can learn from and lead others. This is an office-based role.Key Functions

Oversee the Common Receipts daily banking function, bank transfers and daily reconciliation.Produce monthly and quarterly client reporting packs, maintain trackers, including analysis of budget vs expenditure, dealing with cash flow issues.Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.Quarterly production of Cash Reconciliations.Preparation of VAT reports and SC fund vat reimbursements to/from clients.Preparing rent pay over reports and transfer funds to clients.Manage and complete all aspects of service charge accounting ensuring compliance with RICS guidelines, including quarterly reviews, annual budget implementation, year-end reviews, including tenant apportionments, balancing charges and audit preparation.Monitor and analyse rent arrears and tenant account movements, working with the Property Asset Managers to clear accounts.People and System Management

Provide team support, training and mentoring.Guide team members on daily basis, identify development needs, provide training where needed.Assist/conduct the weekly team meetings.Maintain and enhance reporting processes and financial controls across property accounting.Assist with QUBE system changes and security measures.Qualifications / Experience

Ideally AAT Qualified, Part Qualified ACCA, minimum 10 years’ experience in Property Accounting.Strong background in commercial service charge accounting and vat treatment for different funds held.Strong understanding of commercial property leases and lease obligations.Must have minimum of 5+years of QUBE MRI experience, ideally have an in-depth knowledge of the systems’ functionality.Skilled in data management and financial reporting.Excellent communication and time management.Seniority level
