Senior Claims Specialist (Credit and Political Risk)

An established insurer in the London market is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to join its Claims team, focused on Credit and Political Risk business. Reporting to the Claims Manager, you''ll handle claims across your assigned lines from notification to settlement, ensuring prompt, fair outcomes with tight control over reserving, costs and lifecycle times. As the team''s technical referral point, you''ll act as subject matter expert, manage key vendor relationships, and support broker engagement and business planning. You''ll also mentor junior colleagues, contribute to process improvement, and help ensure practices stay aligned with FCA/PRA requirements, alongside regular claims reporting and analysis. Our client is looking for someone with strong CPRI claims experience, either within an insurance company, loss adjusters, or solicitors. Experience within structured credit is key. You''ll have sharp analytical and influencing skills, and sound judgement under pressure. A Degree/ACII/legal qualification/similar is desirable and you''ll have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
