Full-time, PermanentI’m working with a top-tier consultancy looking to appoint an experienced Senior Claims / Commercial Manager to join their team on a major energy project in London. This is a critical role on a complex scheme that is approaching distressed project status — and they are seeking a senior-level operator who can bring clarity, structure, and strategic direction to the commercial position.The successful candidate will need to be a self-starter, capable of working independently, with a strong background in managing claims and navigating complex dispute scenarios. FIDIC contract experience is essential, and any exposure to the Silver Book will be particularly valuable.This role will suit a confident, technically strong individual who enjoys untangling issues, advising clients, and ensuring their commercial position is protected.Key Responsibilities:Lead claims preparation and manage dispute resolution strategiesAdvise and support the client in mitigating commercial riskReview and interpret complex contract documentation (FIDIC, particularly Silver Book)Develop robust commercial positions on a live projectInterface with legal teams, external advisors, and senior stakeholdersSupport contract negotiations and ongoing project delivery from a commercial perspectiveIdeal Candidate:Extensive experience in claims management and dispute resolution on major infrastructure or energy projectsStrong working knowledge of FIDIC contracts (Silver Book highly desirable)Capable of working under pressure and providing strategic advice at a senior levelComfortable working independently in a client-side roleStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsIf this sounds like the right opportunity for you, feel free to get in touch or apply with your latest CV for a confidential ..... full job details .....
