Senior Civil Engineer - Water Location: PeterboroughContract: PermanentSector: Water / Civil Engineering The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our client''s growing engineering team in Peterborough, supporting the delivery of a major programme of investment across the water sector. This is an excellent opportunity to take a technical lead on a diverse portfolio of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, helping to deliver innovative, practical and sustainable engineering solutions across the East of England. Working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, you''ll play a key role in driving design quality, reviewing technical outputs and supporting projects from design through to construction. You''ll also have the opportunity to lead and mentor junior engineers while contributing to new approaches around digital engineering, offsite construction, low-carbon design and repeatable solutions. The Role As a Senior Civil Engineer, you''ll take technical responsibility for civil engineering design across a range of water recycling treatment works and associated infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include: Providing technical leadership across water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Producing, checking and reviewing civil engineering designs, calculations, drawings and 3D models.
