Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer

One of the largest Construction contractors in the UK, the successful applicant will be an individual who holds 5+ years of complex structural renewal and maintenance experience and is capable of delivering engineering solutions within a design and build environment. Role: Senior Design Engineer - Civils Location: Balfour Beatty Pensions Centre, Kings Business Park, Kings Drive, Prescot, Merseyside, L34 1PJ (100% office based but hybrid working can be negotiated after initial training) Salary: 55ph Contract length: 12 months initially with the potential to be extended Shift Patterns: Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours per week (standard office hours) Responsibilities: Undertaking the design of complex structural renewal and maintenance projects from inception to design completion Conducting structures assessments Managing the delivery of site investigations / surveying and planning Preparing and reviewing technical reports and draft specifications for remedial and improvement works Preparing calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and technical reports Providing technical reports on the condition / capacity of existing structures Carrying out detailed design and preparing supporting documentation Undertaking structure inspection, assessment and ..... full job details .....
