An opportunity for an experienced civil engineer to take a leading role in a growing civils team, running projects from early feasibility through to construction and mentoring the engineers around you. The business is open to appointing at the right level for the right person, from Senior Civil Engineer up to Associate. This is a combined design and site role, with most sites located across Yorkshire and Lancashire, and design, client and team leadership at its heart. Hybrid working: you choose how many days you work from home, the Leeds office and the Cross Hills office (near Keighley), with a minimum of one day a week in Cross Hills. What you will be doing • Leading the development and delivery of civil designs across multiple projects and stages • Taking responsibility for technical decisions and sound engineering judgement • Acting as a key client contact, presenting solutions to clients, regulators and stakeholders • Managing and mentoring graduates, trainees and technicians, including their ICE development • Planning and overseeing delivery against programme, budget and quality • Monitoring utilisation and contributing to project ..... full job details .....
