An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a dynamic and friendly consultancy in Bath. This role would suit a Engineer or Senior Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure and drainage design, alongside proven client-facing and project leadership experience.
You will play a key role in delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across the life sciences, residential, industrial, and commercial sectors, while contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.
The Role
As part of a talented and collaborative civils team, you will take ownership of projects from inception through to delivery, while mentoring junior engineers and supporting the strategic development of the office.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering
- Working towards Chartered Engineer status (ICE or equivalent)
- Strong consultancy experience delivering infrastructure and drainage design projects
- Previous experience managing projects and/or teams
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Ambitious and commercially aware, with a desire to help grow the business and lead projects
- Hands on Civil/Drainage design on a mixture of projects
- Coordinating with other disciplines and regional offices across the business
- Mentoring junior staff and contributing to their professional development
- Salary: £40,000 – £55,000
