Senior Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

Prepare outline and detailed design for a wide array of civil engineering projectsFollow check and approve procedures throughout project deliveryUndertake the duties of designer as highlighted in CDM/CSM legislationEngage with clients and support successful project deliveryContribute to company goals and business improvementContinue your own professional developmentSupport junior staff developmentRequired Experience / Qualifications

Circa 4/5 years experienceIdeally CEng or IEng qualified with a professional body i.e. ICE, IStructEDemonstratable experience in a Civil Engineering role, ideally acting as CRE, CRE under mentorshipExperience of civil engineering design and in the railway industry, including an understanding of Network Rail standardsA Civil Engineering degree (MEng preferred but not critical)Knowledge of civil design and construction principles and standardsEurocode experienceExperience in delivering to safety standards and CDM/CSM requirementsExperience of commercial awareness including programming and delivery to budgets/timescalesProficient in the use of computer analysis programs e.g. TEDDS and SupersuiteKnowledge of producing drawings by using 2D/3D ..... full job details .....
