An established and growing Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to join its Leicester office.
The business delivers a broad range of projects across the residential, commercial, education, healthcare, leisure and regeneration sectors, providing integrated civil and structural engineering solutions to developers, architects and contractors throughout the UK. With a strong project pipeline and a reputation for technical quality, they are looking to strengthen their civil engineering team with the appointment of an experienced Senior Civil Engineer.
The Role
- Lead the design and delivery of infrastructure and drainage schemes from concept through to construction.
- Prepare drainage strategies, Flood Risk Assessments and detailed drainage designs.
- Produce and coordinate Section 38, Section 104 and Section 278 submissions.
- Liaise with local authorities, statutory undertakers, clients and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Manage project programmes, budgets and deliverables.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
- Attend client meetings and contribute to project delivery and business development activities.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Previous experience within a UK engineering consultancy.
- Strong background in infrastructure and drainage design.
- Experience delivering residential and commercial development projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage (Civil 3D beneficial).
- Good understanding of UK design standards and adoption processes.
- Chartered status or working towards Chartership would be advantageous.
