We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join a growing Transportation team based in Dublin, working on some of Ireland''s most high-profile infrastructure, highway, active travel, and urban development projects. Our client is a globally recognised engineering consultancy expanding their Ireland team.This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of complex multidisciplinary schemes while developing your technical and project leadership skills within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Your new role
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of transportation projects from concept through to construction. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients, you will support the successful delivery of infrastructure solutions that improve connectivity and enhance communities across Ireland.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the design of highways, roads, junctions, and transportation infrastructure projects.
• Producing and reviewing technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and stakeholders.
• Supporting project delivery, programme management, and client engagement.
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development.
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant Irish and UK standards and regulations.
• Supporting business development activities and relationship management with key clients.

What you''ll need to succeed

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years'' UK experience within transportation, highways, roads, or infrastructure design.
• Experience delivering projects within a consultancy environment.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering design standards and best practices.
• Proficiency in industry software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, OpenRoads, or similar.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Progression towards, or achievement of, Chartered Engineer status is advantageous.
