The role will see you working within an infrastructure design team, providing civil engineering input from the planning and Reserved Matters stages through to detailed design and technical approvals. With multiple projects running at any one time, no two days will be the same, giving you plenty of variety and the opportunity to take real ownership of your work. The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified in Civil Engineering with around five years'' industry experience and a background in highway infrastructure. You''ll be confident applying design standards and best practice, including Manual for Streets, DMRB and LTN 1/20, and will have strong AutoCAD skills with a keen eye for detail and quality. Experience should include contributing to development masterplans, site level analysis and the preparation of preliminary highway and drainage designs for planning applications.
