Senior Civil Engineer An established engineering consultancy is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join its growing Brighton team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced civil engineer who enjoys being close to project delivery. You''ll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, working across highways, drainage and wider civil engineering schemes while collaborating directly with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams. The Brighton office is a small, close-knit and highly collaborative team with a strong delivery culture. The role You''ll take ownership of civil engineering projects from initial concept and detailed design through to delivery and construction. Day to day, you''ll be: Developing and delivering civil engineering, highways and drainage schemes from concept through to completion Taking a hands-on role in drainage design and wider civil engineering Managing your own project tasks, budgets, programmes and priorities Working directly with contractors and supporting projects during construction Producing and reviewing technical designs and deliverables Providing guidance and support to junior and assistant engineers Coordinating with other engineering disciplines and project teams Supporting fee estimates, proposals and the development of new work Maintaining quality standards and identifying practical solutions to technical issues Building your project management and commercial responsibilities as you progress What we''re ..... full job details .....
