This position can be based across multiple offices: Manchester, York or Leeds. They have a great portfolio of projects, which include HS2 & Transpennine Route Upgrade. This is a great opportunity to join a busy consultancy on an initial 6 month basis. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver civil engineering design packages across multiple rail projects Undertake and check detailed designs in accordance with Network Rail standards and applicable codes Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including track, OLE, drainage, structures, and geotechnical engineers Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure designs meet programme, cost, and quality expectations Input into feasibility studies, optioneering, and constructability reviews Support the preparation of technical reports, specifications, risk assessments, and design deliverables Contribute to project planning, resourcing, and commercial awareness where required...
