Job Title: Senior / Principal Civil EngineerDay Rate: £350 - £400 per day (outside IR35)Location: BrightonType: 6-month Contract | Full-time | ASAP startAbout the Role: This role will involve the design and upgrading of wastewater treatment works, including refurbishment and maintenance projects, design of new treatment plants, and upgrades driven by population growth and new regulations (e.g. IED requirements, Final Enforcement Orders). You''ll be expected to work independently, applying hands-on expertise to ensure robust and practical engineering solutions.What Our Client is Looking For

Proven hands-on experience in wastewater treatment designStrong technical knowledge of refurbishment, upgrades, and new build schemesAbility to work independently and manage priorities effectivelyFamiliarity with regulatory drivers such as IED and FEO requirementsKey Responsibilities

Lead and deliver wastewater treatment design projectsUndertake refurb, maintenance, and upgrade designsEnsure compliance with regulations and enforcement requirementsWork independently while contributing to a wider technical teamWhat Our Client Offers
