Senior / Principal Civil Design Engineer - Water Wakefield (Hybrid) - Outside IR35A well-established Civil Engineering and Utilities business with a strong and growing pipeline of work in the water sector is looking to bring in an experienced Senior or Principal Civil Design Engineer to support its integrated design team in Wakefield. Operating across Yorkshire and the wider UK, the business delivers a mix of infrastructure and non-infrastructure schemes, combining in-house design with Design and Build delivery.This is a contract opportunity that would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on and properly involved in projects, rather than sitting at a distance. You''ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of water and wastewater schemes from feasibility and concept through to detailed design, construction and commissioning, working alongside a collaborative and down-to-earth team.Day to day, you''ll be coordinating civil and drainage design activities, preparing and reviewing drawings, calculations, specifications and reports, and helping to keep projects moving in line with programme and client expectations.
