In this role, you will lead the delivery of civil and structural engineering outputs for major water infrastructure and treatment projects. Operating with high autonomy, you will oversee analysis, detailed calculations, and technical designs while working closely with on-site construction operations.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Output:Produce and review robust civil/structural analysis models, design calculations, sketches, and detailed reports for water sector projects.Quality and Governance:Provide technical guidance, ensuring all work complies with UK design standards, safety regulations, and quality procedures.Construction and Client Interface:Interface directly with site construction teams to deliver value-engineered solutions and present design capabilities confidently to clients.Commercial Drive:Deliver designs strictly to budget, managing scope changes effectively.Leadership:Act as a mentor, guiding and developing junior engineers within the team.Key RequirementsQualifications:Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with Chartered (CEng) or Incorporated (IEng) status.Sector Expertise:Proven track record delivering engineering design within the UK Water industry.Technical Mastery:In-depth experience in ..... full job details .....
