Leading shifts and providing direction to the care teamSupporting children and young people with emotional, behavioural, or learning needs in a residential settingActing as a key worker and positive role model for young people and staffCreating and maintaining nurturing environments where children can thriveWorking closely with management to deliver care plans and uphold safeguarding proceduresAssisting with budgets, administration, and the smooth running of the homeWhat we''re looking for

At least 1 year''s experience in children''s residential careLevel 3 or 4 Residential Childcare qualification (or working towards with strong progress)Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide and support a teamA genuine interest in supporting vulnerable looked-after children and young peopleResilience, patience, and excellent communication skillsFull UK manual driving licenceEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)Desirable

Previous experience as a Senior Practitioner or shift leader in residential childcareExtensive knowledge of Children\''s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality StandardsWhat\''s on offer
