This role suits an experienced Principal Designer or CDM Adviser with strong knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015. You will advise clients, coordinate design risk management, support statutory compliance and help develop an established CDM service. The position offers hybrid working and potential progression into management.Role and ResponsibilitiesAct as Principal Designer under CDM Regulations 2015Provide CDM Client Adviser servicesManage health and safety during pre-constructionPrepare Pre-Construction Information and Health and Safety FilesDevelop client relationships and support service growthYou will undertake site visits, review design risks and communicate residual risks to project stakeholders. You will also support occupational health and safety procedures across the wider practice.Skills and Experience RequiredRelevant construction, engineering or professional degreeProven Principal Designer or CDM Adviser experienceStrong knowledge of health and safety legislationConfident client and stakeholder communication skillsFull driving licence for site visitsMembership of APS, IOSH, RICS or CIOB is preferred.
