Senior Care Worker - Part-Time

As a Senior Care Worker, you''ll play a key role in ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred care while providing guidance and support to colleagues across the team. You''ll lead by example, helping to create a safe, welcoming and supportive environment where residents can thrive. This role involves shift work, including two out of every three weekends, as part of a rota designed to ensure consistent, high-quality care for our residents. What you will do Deliver high-quality care and support to residentsLead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the serviceProvide guidance and support to Care WorkersContribute to care planning, reviews and risk assessmentsAdminister medication in line with policies and proceduresPromote residents'' independence, choice and wellbeingMaintain accurate records and ensure high standards of care are upheld About you You will be an experienced care professional with a genuine commitment to supporting older people to live well. You''ll be confident leading by example, supporting colleagues and making sound decisions when required. Strong communication skills, compassion and a positive approach are essential. You must hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare and be willing to work towards, or already hold, an SVQ Level 4 qualification.
