Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring a respectful, open, and collaborative environment for residents, visitors and staff.Responsibilities
Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, noting changes impacting care and care plans, ensuring new needs are met, and updating records to reflect variations.Participating in the person-centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.Supporting residents with their medication requirements.Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development where required.Acting as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.About You

Hold an NVQ Level 3 or a minimum of Level 2 NVQ equivalent in care for care homes.Have 2 years’ experience working in a similar care environment.Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Have a positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.About Avery
