Senior Care Assistant

We are looking-for talented senior care assitants-to expand our senior team. You will-lead our established team of carers to provide individual care for our residents in our private residential home. We have a choice of days & nights available. If choosen to work-day shifts you must be flexible to work a night shift when required. Your shifts will be over a 7 day period.

Our ideal candidate must: have a NVQ level 3 or be working towards it. Have 2 years experience in leading a team in a care home setting. Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and-in writing. Have a positive attitude. Be responsive and-flexible to cover a range of responsibilities. Have a good knowledge and-confidence of medication administration. Have good organisational skills.

Duties will include: administration of medication, liasing with health professionals, leading a team, recording accurate information on electronic care and medication systems, reporting directly to the home manager.
