We are currently recruiting on behalf of a luxury, purpose-built Residential Care Home in Ipswich who are looking for Senior Care Assistants on Days or Nights to join their dedicated team.

This is a beautiful 60 bedded Care Home specialising in elderly care that is a part of a long-established charity that operates a number of Nursing and Residential Care Homes across the UK. As a company they offer fantastic opportunities for progression and development.

They are actively seeking passionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistants (preferably with previous care home experience) to join their care team on permanent contracts on Days or Nights. As a Senior Carer you will be expected to lead by example at all times and provide strong leadership skills to the rest of the care team.

These are full an part time, permanent Senior Care Assistant roles paying a fantastic -14.75-15.07 per hour with paid breaks and working 7am-9pm / 9pm-7am shifts.

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is preferred and Senior Carer candidates will need to be medication trained.

Senior Care Assistant Duties:

• To Supervise and participate in the delivery of care to residents
• To provide leadership and support to the care assistants
• Administer medication
• Update and review care plans & risk assessments
• Shift leading
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals and families
