Senior Care Assistant

• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor junior care assistants, conduct staff supervisions, and coordinate shift rotas.

• Care Planning: Create, monitor, and update person-centred care plans as residents'' needs change.

• Medication Management: Oversee and complete medication administration records (MAR charts) and support correct medication regimes.

• Health Monitoring: Check basic vital signs like blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, and report any health changes.

• Family and Professional Communication: Update families on a resident''s progress and liaise with visiting doctors, nurses, and social workers.

• Personal and Daily Care: Assist residents with washing, dressing, mobility, and eating when required.
