Senior C&I / OT Engineer

Senior C&I / OT Engineer | Richmond | £65,000 to £75,000 | Permanent | Industrial Cybersecurity
 
An established industrial cybersecurity technology business is looking to appoint a Senior Controls & Instrumentation / Operational Technology Engineer to support the technical delivery and integration of its proprietary technology into customer environments.
 
This is a client facing engineering role combining technical expertise, systems integration and project delivery across critical industrial infrastructure environments.
 
The role will involve:
- Leading technical discussions with customers to understand their existing industrial systems and equipment
- Assessing industrial control system architectures, interfaces and integration requirements
- Managing the technical integration of cybersecurity technology into customer operations
- Resolving technical queries and supporting testing and documentation
- Taking ownership of technical work scopes and engineering deliverables
- Coordinating technical activities across customers and internal engineering teams
- Supporting successful project delivery within complex industrial environments
 
Candidates should have:
- Strong Controls & Instrumentation (C&I) or Operational Technology (OT) engineering experience
- A background within EPC, systems integration or industrial project delivery
- Experience working directly with customers on technical engineering projects
- Good understanding of industrial control systems, architectures and interfaces
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking and IT/OT integration
- Ability to manage technical work scopes and take ownership of engineering deliverables
 
Previous experience within oil and gas, power generation, water treatment, utilities or other process industries would be particularly relevant.
 
This opportunity would suit an experienced C&I or OT Engineer looking to move into a technically challenging, customer facing role within industrial cybersecurity, while continuing to work closely with real industrial systems and infrastructure.
 
This is a permanent position based at the company''s headquarters in Richmond, with potential for flexible working arrangements in the future.
 
Salary is £65,000 to £75,000 per annum depending on experience.
