Senior CAD Technician

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an award-winning multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with the recruitment of a Senior CAD Technician.Permanent position. This role will be based at the company''s Sheffield office.The successful candidate will work alongside Civil and Structural Engineers on a varied range of residential, commercial and industrial developments.SalaryCompetitive salary, depending on experience + twice-yearly salary reviews + additional benefitsKey ResponsibilitiesProduce and update technical drawings using AutoCAD.Prepare General Arrangement drawings, structural layouts and construction details.Support structural projects involving steel, concrete, timber and reinforced concrete.Assist Civil Engineers with external works, site layouts and drainage drawings.Work across projects ranging from individual residential properties to larger commercial and industrial developments.Coordinate drawings with Engineers, Architects and other members of the project team.Maintain accurate drawing information and support projects through agreed deadlines.Assist and support more junior Technicians where appropriate.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience working as a CAD Technician, Engineering Technician or in a similar role.Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.Some experience within civil, structural or construction-related engineering.Understanding of technical drawings and construction detailing.ONC, HNC, HND or similar Civil/Structural Engineering qualification ..... full job details .....
