Senior C++ Engineer - TradingCertain Advantage is hiring for a Senior C++ Software Engineer based in London.This role is on an initial 6-month contract basis and is required to be onsite 3 days a week.The CompanyWe''re working with a globally recognised organisation at the forefront of energy trading and technology. Backed by significant investment and operating at a global scale, the business develops cutting-edge trading platforms that support high-performance derivatives trading across international markets.You''ll be responsible for:Developing low-latency exchange connectivity using native exchange APIs and protocols including FIX, WebSockets and HTTP.Building and enhancing high-performance trading algorithms alongside traders and quantitative analysts.Optimising application performance through techniques such as Kernel bypass, TLS optimisation and connection tuning.Investigating production issues, improving system reliability and resolving performance bottlenecks.Maintaining and extending automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality.Supporting releases, deployments and continuous improvements across the global trading platform.The IndividualC++ software development experience within financial services.Experience working in Trading andamp; Capital Markets or Investment BankingStrong understanding of exchange-traded derivatives and the full trading life cycle.Knowledge of major global futures exchanges and their native protocols.Excellent understanding of ..... full job details .....
