Senior Buyer Location: Milton Keynes Salary: 50,000 - 55,000 We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Buyer to join a growing advanced manufacturing business based in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused procurement professional with experience sourcing machined components, subcontract services and engineering materials within a manufacturing environment. The Role As Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating commercial agreements and ensuring the timely supply of materials and services required to support manufacturing operations. Working closely with Engineering, Planning, Quality and Operations teams, you will play a key role in maintaining supply chain performance, driving cost reduction initiatives and supporting new product introduction activities. Key ResponsibilitiesManage supplier relationships and commercial agreementsNegotiate pricing, lead times and supply contractsEnsure continuity of supply to support production schedulesSource machined components, subcontract manufacturing services and engineering materialsMonitor supplier performance, delivery and quality metricsExpedite critical materials and resolve supply chain issuesSupport new product introduction (NPI) and engineering change activitiesIdentify cost reduction and value engineering opportunitiesMaintain ERP system accuracy and procurement dataSupport supplier audits and continuous improvement initiatives About You ..... full job details .....
