Overview

RHR is recruiting for a Senior Buyer to join a long-established retailer in South London. The role focuses on Seasonal and Garden ranges within home and lifestyle / DIY, managing supplier relationships to maximise financial returns.Base pay and location

Salary on offer between £65K - £80K depending on experience. Location: London, England, United Kingdom.Responsibilities

Develop the product range to maximise financial returns.Work cross-functionally with an established supplier base.Negotiate to secure the best margins and take ownership of the buying process for Seasonal and Garden ranges.Qualifications

Proven experience as a Buyer across General Merchandise, ideally with ownership of electricals or SDA.Commercial acumen; ability to work in cross-functional teams.Strong communication and leadership experience; resilience and drive to perform at a high level.Ability to work at pace in a reactive and proactive role.Numerical ability with analytical, trade-focused mindset.Strong IT skills, including MS Office.Availability to work 3-4 days per week at the head office with 1-2 days at home.Employment details
