5 monthsThis is a mission-driven role within Northrop Grumman UK, focused on delivering a sustainable supply chain to support business needs while protecting the company’s commercial and financial interests and satisfying customer requirements.Responsibilities

Accountable for assuring programme schedule and budget commitments through supplier managementWork in accordance with NG policies, procedures and values, challenging and improving where neededCarry out RFQ/RFP/RFI (RFx) activities to support programme demandUnderstand and challenge Statements of Requirements and Statements of WorkIssue RFx, receive, interpret and summarise responsesConduct negotiations and align terms with programme needsSchedule to needs and preferential terms and conditionsImplement Contract agreements with appropriate customer flow-downsEngage business stakeholder teams to understand supply chain requirements and assure delivery of supplier performanceMaintain ERP system and keep purchase documentation currentMonitor performance and provide status updates and reports as requestedIntroduce Supply Chain and Procurement best practices into an engineering environmentQualification and Skills

Knowledge of supply chain management practice and principlesTrack record of delivering cost benefits and improvementsAbility to deliver innovative solutions and manage collaborative relationships internally and externallyConfidence and poise with ability to communicate with stakeholdersProven ability to meet deadlines and targetsAbility to work autonomously within a defined scope to achieve objectivesSecurity clearance

You must be able to gain and maintain the relevant UK Government security clearance in line with the job role (SC).What we offer
