Description

• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best value
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring consistent quality and timely delivery.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to align with the company''s goals.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies and regulations.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers effectively and efficiently

Profile

A successful Senior Buyer should have:

• Proven experience in procurement
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse market trends and develop effective purchasing strategies.
• Proficiency in managing supplier relationships and resolving issues.
• Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• SAP experience is desirable

Job Offer

• Competitive salary ranging from -40,500 to -45,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Permanent position based in St Helens
