Senior Buyer Location: KingswinfordSalary: Up to £40,000Job Type: Permanent, Full TimeWorking Arrangement: Fully on-siteWe are recruiting an experienced Senior Buyer to take ownership of procurement and supply chain planning within a growing manufacturing division.This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to build and improve procurement processes, introduce greater structure and develop more effective ways of working. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day purchasing, supplier performance, inventory and material availability across direct and indirect spend.Key responsibilities Manage procurement across direct and indirect spend categoriesDevelop and implement purchasing, planning and supplier management processesLead supplier negotiations and develop strategic supplier relationshipsMonitor supplier performance across cost, quality and deliveryManage inventory and ensure materials are available to support productionBuild and maintain manual supply-and-demand planning toolsIdentify cost-saving opportunities and support annual reduction targetsIntroduce procurement KPIs and drive continuous improvementWork closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Finance and the wider Group Procurement teamResolve delivery, invoice and supply-related issues Experience required Strong purchasing and supply chain experience, ideally within manufacturingExperience improving or rebuilding procurement and planning processesHands-on knowledge of inventory and supply-and-demand ..... full job details .....
