The role will involve purchasing a variety of indirect MRO-related products and services, as well as some business services including IT contracts.Purchasing indirect products and services in line with the company''s requirements and ensuring measurable commercial and operational outcomes within the MRO and business services categoriesBuilding and developing strong supplier relationshipsMonitoring supplier data to ensure performance levels are within agreed SLAsCarrying out supplier visits and auditsImplementing and embedding procurement improvementsEngaging with stakeholders, driving budget compliance and develop tender specificationsRequired experience:At least 6 years'' experience in an MRO/spares/parts focused or Indirect purchasing role, at Senior Buyer level or aboveEvidence of high spend and autonomous category responsibilityExperience with MRO and business services/other indirect spend categoryProven solid negotiation skillsExperience within manufacturing purchasing is an advantage.CIPS qualification or working towards/equivalentPersonal Qualities we will be ..... full job details .....
