A distinguished global defense organisation is seeking a Senior Buyer (Indirects) to join their team in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. This permanent role offers a salary of up to £55,000, along with a flexible 4-day workweek and hybrid working arrangements.Responsibilities

Managing end-to-end procurement processes, including RFQs, tenders, negotiations, bid evaluations, and contract awards.Holding procurement delegation to sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within authorised limits.Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best value and managing supplier performance to meet technical, schedule, quality, and cost standards.Developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate mutual benefits and ensure effective communication.Ensuring procurement activities comply with internal and legislative procedures, managing risks, and supporting continuous improvement of supply chain processes.Person Specification
