Role: Senior BuyerContract Length: March 2028Location: Swindon - Hybrid (3 days/week on site)IR35: InsideRate: £550day (Umbrella)Essential: Proven procurement experience, preferably within a public sector environment.Strong understanding of procurement processes and relevant commercial and contractual principles.Knowledge of commercial and contractual terms and conditions relevant to procurement activity.Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to analyse information, interpret requirements and develop procurement strategies appropriate to the sourcing activity.Experience supporting or delivering procurement activities from strategy through to contract award.Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Desirable: Membership of a recognised professional procurement or commercial body (e.g. CIPS or equivalent).Experience supporting complex procurement within regulated environments.Knowledge of public sector procurement practices and governance requirements.
