Senior Business Development Executive

We are recruiting for a Senior Business Development Executive to join an established and forward-thinking logistics company in St Albans. If you have previous sales experience, an interest in commerce and want to take the next step in your career journey, then this is the opportunity you have been seeking! Working in a team of 5, the successful candidate will proactively develop new business and build and nurture existing client relationships to maximise the potential. What s in it for you? Salary: Up to £45k + £10k-£15k OTE Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-5.00pm, office based 22 days holidays + Bank Holidays Free parking Key Responsibilities Maintain a level of 100+ targeted new business calls per week. Build strong personal relationships with new and existing clients Negotiate with clients and suppliers Submit quotes, overcome objections and devise conversion strategies to win business. Account management. Attend a weekly sales meeting Assist with Company marketing projects, for example LinkedIn posts, marketing literature, e-shots Some travel around Europe twice a month once established in the role What the client is looking for: Proven Business to Business (B2B) sales experience. A friendly, engaging telephone manner. Excellent IT Skills, especially Excel. An energetic, enthusiastic personality. The ability to work to deadlines. Show Innovation and problem solving skills.
